For the last 14 years, the humble home of Vaisnava Prabhu and Lalita Sundari Mataji in Zulueta St., Cebu City, have become the temporary home of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, which were the murtis installed for Padayatra back in 1990. In 2004, the Hare Krishna Paradise temple in Mandaue was sold for a larger more urgent preaching project in Luzon. From that time forward, the local Cebuano vaisnava congregation, ISKCON Life Members and supporters have relied on Bhaktivriksa and Namahatta programs to maintain the association of devotees and continue their devotional practices and services. The Sunday Feasts and Festivals were held in the home of Vaisnava Prabhu where Sri Sri Gaura Nitai was being taken cared of as Home Deities.

Just recently, the home of Vaisnava Prabhu will no longer be available for the ISKCON community members of Cebu to hold programs. And thus, Sri Sri Gaura Nitai is in need of a new home. With the cooperation of the local vaisnava families, a new temporary home in the heart of Talisay City, Cebu, shall now accommodate the programs and Their Lordships Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, until we can find a more permanent property to house Them and hold the programs. In doing so, we now take a new chapter in the History of the ISKCON Cebu Yatra. We hope that in this journey, you may also join us and participate in the initiative to reestablish a permanent temple for Sri Sri Gaura Nitai and the vaisnava congregation in the Island of Cebu.
